STEPHEN SANDERSON. Stephen Sanderson was married in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley on 30th September 1582 to Jane Wynd and they had the following children:
1) * Stephen Sanderson who married in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley on 23rd May 1609 to Alice Follansby .
2) Christopher Sanderson who was baptised on 10th August 1589 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley.
3) William Sanderson who was baptised on 6th August 1592 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley.
* STEPHEN SANDERSON . Stephen Sanderson was married in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley on 23rd May 1609 to Alice Follansby , who was baptised 19th February 1588 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley. Her father was ThomasFollansby . Their children were:
1) Margaret Sanderson who was baptised 26th February 1610 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley and was married on 9th May 1639 in the Parish of Staindrop to John Stamper .
2) John Sanderson who was baptised 13th December 1612 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley and was married on 7th May 1846 in the Parish of Barnard Castle to Margery Key (no issue). 2nd marriage, 1st June 1656 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley to Margaret Laburne .
3) * Thomas Sanderson who was baptised on 21st January 1616 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley and married on 23rd November 1642 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley to Mary Hodgson .
4) Anthony Sanderson who was baptised on 8th November 1618 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley.
5) Jane Sanderson who was baptised on 11th February 1621 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley.
6) Charles Sanderson who was baptised on 19th August 1621 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley.
7) Elizabeth Sanderson was baptised on 22nd April 1627 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley and was married on 11th November 1658 in the Parish of Brancepeth to Richard Franckland .
* THOMAS SANDERSON. Thomas Sanderson was baptised on 21st January 1616 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley and was married on 23rd November 1642 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley to Mary Hodgson. She was baptised on 6th November 1621 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley. Her father was Hugh Hodgson and her mother was Margaret Warbey. Their children were:
1) * Hugh Sanderson baptised on 20th October 1644 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley and was married on 1st May 1672 in the Parish of Aycliff to Katherine Langhorne.
2) Stephen Sanderson was baptised 29th May 1646 in the Parish of Brancepeth and was married on 26th April 1680 in the Parish of Aycliff to Elizabeth Whitfield.
3) Mary Sanderson was baptised on 5th November 1648 in the Parish of Brancepeth and was married to ? Honmas.
4) Elizabeth Sanderson was baptised on 31st July 1653 in the Parish of Barnard Castle and was married to ? Harling.
5) Alice Sanderson was baptised on 21st August 1653 in the Parish of Brancepeth and was married on 1st June 1675 to George Comyn.
6) Ralph Sanderson was baptised on 29th June 1656 in the Parish of Brancepeth and was married on 7th August 1684 to Jane Smith.
7) Ann Sanderson was baptised on 31st January 1659 in the Parish of Brancepeth and was married on 13th May 1697 to William Ramsey.
8) Margaret Sanderson was baptised on 21st April 1661 in the Parish of Durham St Oswald and was married on 24th November 1692 to William Emmerson.
9) Thomas Sanderson was baptised on 14th August 1664 in the Parish of Brancepeth and was married on 30th April 1687 in the Parish of Escomb to Elsebeth Foreman.
* HUGH SANDERSON. Hugh Sanderson was baptised on 20th October 1644 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley and was married on 1st May 1672 in the Parish of Aycliff to Katherine Langhorne. She was baptised on 31st May 1647 in Auckland St Andrew. Her father was John Langhorne. Their children were:
1) John Sanderson was married on 17th October 1693 in Bishop Auckland, the Parish of Hamsterley to Elinor Trotter.
2) George Sanderson was married on 2nd January 1721 in the Parish of Auckland St Helen to Katherine Wall.
3) * Thomas Sanderson was married on 13th May 1696 in the Parish of Wolsingham to Jane Maughan.
4) Mary Sanderson was married on 11th May 1727 Parish of Stanhope to Thomas Walton.
* THOMAS SANDERSON. Thomas Sanderson was married on 13th May 1696 in the Parish of Wolsingham to Jane Maugham. She was baptised on 19th December 1671 in the Parish of Wolsingham. Her father was Lancelot Maughan and her mother Anna Mowbrey. There children were:
1) Hugh Sanderson who was baptised on 11th Mar 1697 in the Parish of Wolsingham.
2) Margaret Sanderson who was baptised on 9th August 1702 in the Parish of Stanhope.
3) * Lancelot Sanderson who was baptised on 28th May 1708 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 5th April 1793 in Hilton. He was married about 1735 to Anne ? who died on 5th June 1741 in Carhouse in the Parish of Staindrop. He remarried about 1742 to Jane ? who died on 28th July 1790 in Hilton.
4) Abraham Sanderson who was baptised on 26th November 1712 in the Parish of Staindrop and was married on 6th May 1757 in the Parish of Auckland St Helen to Margery Hodgson
* LANCEOT SANDERSON. Lancelot Sanderson was baptised on 28th May 1708 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 5th Apr 1793 in Hilton. He was married about 1735 to Anne ? who died on 5th June 1741 in Carhouse in the Parish of Staindrop. Their children were:
1) Isabel Sanderson, who was born at Carhouse, was baptised on 26th May 1736 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 19th March 1742 at Hilton.
2) Edward Sanderson, who was born at Carhouse, was baptised on 14th March 1738 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 17th July 1760 at Hilton.
3) Catherine Sanderson, who was born at Carhouse, was baptised on 9th June 1740 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 17th Jun 1741 at Carhouse.
Lancelot Sanderson remarried about 1742 to Jane ? who died on 28th July 1790 in Hilton. Their children were:
4) Elizabeth Sanderson, who was born at Hilton, was baptised on 28th December 1743 in Parish of Staindrop.
5) Hannah Sanderson, who was born at Hilton, was baptised on 20th January 1745 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 22nd January 1745 .
6) Thomas Sanderson, who was born at Hilton, was baptised on 30th May 1746 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 28th February 1748 .
7) Francis Sanderson, who was born at Hilton, was baptised on 26th September 1747 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 26th January 1748 .
8) * Lancelot Sanderson, who was born at Hilton, was baptised on 5th August 1749 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 18th February 1827 in Hindbury. He was married on 17 th February 1789 in the Parish of Staindrop to Jane Petty who died on 16th April 1799 in the Paris of Staindrop. He was remarried on 10th February 1801 in the Parish of Gainford to Anne Singleton.
* LANCELOT SANDERSON. Lancelot Sanderson was born at Hilton, was baptised on 5th August 1749 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 18th February 1827 in Hindbury. He was married on 17th February 1789 in the Parish of Staindrop to Jane Petty who died on 16th April 1799 in the Parish of Staindrop. Their children were:
1) Elizabeth Sanderson was born at Hilton and baptised on 15th August 1790 in Parish of Staindrop. She was married on 6th January 1808 in the Parish of Monkwearmouth to Thomas Carr who was born circa 1785 in Crosby Ravensworth Yorkshire.
2) Mary Sanderson was baptised on 4th November 1791 in the Parish of Staindrop and died.
3) Jane Sanderson was baptised on 26th March 1798 in the Parish of Staindrop and died.
Lancelot Sanderson remarried on 10th February 1801 in the Parish of Gainford to Anne Singleton. She was born circa 1778 at Lowfield in the Parish of St John Yorkshire, was baptised on 4th January 1778 in Forcett Yorkshire and died on 4th March 1861 in Hindbury Hilton. Her father was Anthony Singleton and her mother was Mary Robinson. Their children were:
4) * Lancelot Sanderson was born on 28th January 1802 in Hindbury Hilton, was baptised on 5th February 1802 in the Parish of Gainform and died on 16th October 1861 in Morpeth, NSW Australia. He was married on 20th December 1821 in Staindrop to Ann Bond. She was born circa 1790 and died on 24th June 1825 in Ingleton. He was remarried on 27th March 1828 in St Georges Bloomsbury Square London to Elizabeth Stamp. She was born circa 1801 in Staindrop, died on 22nd May 1865 in West Maitland, NSW Australia and is buried in Morpeth Church of England Cemetery. Her father was John Stamp and her mother was Elizabeth ?.
5) Robert Sanderson born circa 1807 in Hindbury Hilton and was single.
6) # Henry Sanderson was born on 9th Jul 1813 Hindbury Hilton, was baptised on 8th October 1815 in the Parish of Staindrop and died on 14th May 1868 in Sydney, NSW Australia. He was to married Charlotte Milliner nee Johnson.
7) ^ Anthony Sanderson was born in Hindbury Hilton, was baptised on 30th March 1817 in the Parish of Staindrop and married Anne ? who born circa 1823 in Hilton.
* LANCELOT SANDERSON. Lancelot Sanderson was born on 28th January 1802 in Hindbury Hilton, was baptised on 5th February 1802 in the Parish of Gainform, died on 16th October 1861 in Morpeth, NSW, Australia and is buried the Morpeth Church of England Cemetery. He was married on 20th December 1821 in Staindrop to Ann Bond. She was born circa 1790 and died on 24th June 1825 in Ingleton. They had the following child:
1) Lancelot Sanderson was born in 1823 and died on 22nd July 1828 in Marshall Green.
Lancelot Sanderson remarried on 27th March 1828 in St Georges Bloomsbury Square London to Elizabeth Stamp. She was born circa 1801 in Staindrop, died on 22nd May 1865 in West Maitland, NSW Australia and is buried in Morpeth Church of England Cemetery. Her father was John Stamp and her mother was Elizabeth ?. They arrived in Sydney on 12th September 1828 on the ship ‘Caroline’. They had the following children:
2) Ellen Sanderson was born on 2 nd April 1829 in Narrellan, NSW Australia.
3) Jane Sanderson was born on 18th October 1830 in Richmond , NSW Australia.
4) George Sanderson was born on 22nd January 1833 in Mummel, NSW Australia.
5) * Henry Sanderson was born on 2nd October 1834 in Newcastle , NSW Australia.
6) Mary Ann Sanderson was born 24th August 1836 in Morpeth, NSW Australia.
7) John Sanderson was born on 23rd September 1838 in Morpeth, NSW Australia.
8) Joseph Sanderson was born on 28th July 1841 in Morpeth, NSW Australia.
9) William Robert Sanderson was born on 11th November 1845 in Morpeth, NSW Australia.
# HENRY SANDERSON. Henry Sanderson was born on 9th July 1813 in Hindbury Hilton was baptised on 8th October 1815 in the Parish of Staindrop, died on 14th May 1868 in Sydney, NSW Australia and is buried in St Thomas Church of England Cemetery, North Sydney. He married Charlotte Milliner nee Johnson. She was born on 15th April 1807 in Milton Bay Yorkshire England , died on 17th October 1876 in Sydney NSW, Australia and is buried in St Thomas Church of England Cemetery, North Sydney . Her father was William Johnson and her mother was Ann Clark. Henry and Charlotte arrived in Sydney on 14th July 1840 on the ship ‘ Formosa ’. They had the following children:
1) Elizabeth Anna Sanderson was born circa 1839 in England .
2) Henry William Sanderson was born on 21st November 1842 in West Maitland, NSW Australia.
3) John Edward Sanderson was born on 30th November 1844 in Morpeth, NSW Australia.
4) Mary Isabella Sanderson was born on 12th April 1847 in Singleton, NSW Australia.
^ ANTHONY SANDERSON. Anthony Sanderson was born in Hindbury Hilton and was baptised on 30th March 1817 in the Parish of Staindrop. He married Anne ? who was born circa 1823 in Hilton. They had the following children:
1) Mary Sanderson was born in circa 1846 in Hilton.
2) Henry Sanderson was born in circa 1849 in Long Newtown.
3) Margaret Ann Sanderson was born in circa 1850 in Long Newtown.
